Art 101

Ages 11 and up, these art classes will take your student to the next level in artistic expression. We examine fundamental concepts in art, explore artists and art movements and use a variety of art media in projects. This is a process based art class- not every project will make it to your “refrigerator door”, but every project will boost creative enthusiasm and help your student find their own unique voice.

Learn the basics of drawing and hone your skills with a variety of media. We focus on figure drawing, both traditional and comic proportions. Explore value, composition, texture and other fundamentals to bring your drawings to life.

Watercolor Painting Studio

Open to ages 16 and adults, this class provides material, instruction and open time to explore the wonders of painting and Mixed Media. New projects suggested, or bring what you’re working on!
